We are a licensed chapter of the Live-Action Role Playing (LARP) game known as NERO International. By blending together a fantasy world like Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, or World of Warcraft with the medieval experience of the Rennaissance Faire, we run weekend events filled with mystery, magic, combat, and wonder. With 13 different races to choose from, you can be a Powerful Sorcerer, a Gallant Knight, a Cunning Assassin, or even a Sinister Necromancer. Forget reality, and visit a world where your destiny is limited only by your imagination.

Our next two day event will take place May 31st through June 2nd at Columbus Youth Camp.
Check in starts at 8:00PM EST. Lay On is scheduled for 10 PM. If you did not pre-register by the Thursday prior to the event, please bring two copies of your character sheet. Make sure to send goblin production in by the Wednesday prior to the event.

Fire erupted beneath the very earth itself. All around there was cracks and lava was erupting through, setting the lands aflame. The mountain top smoked like a chimney. That was their destination. There they would find the essence of fire.

“Master…There’s been some occurrences on the island, and not concerning the locals, but our own. It seems that there’s a new…King…” The sound of a book being slammed shut is heard and a stone elf emerges from behind a book shelf. His eyes are filled black and flames of black fire circle his eyes. The stone elf’s composure quickly fades as anger sets in. He shouts with a deep disturbing voice “FOOL! BRING ME ALEX! NOW!” At the end of his shout the entire bookshelf and surrounding ones erupt in fire, and the servant who was speaking quickly fled the room.

The Biata scout patrolled the edge of the forest. A sudden jolt of energy hit him and knocked him to the ground. He felt sick and weak. After shaking the effects he still couldn’t help but feel a bit odd. He went about his patrol. Something rustled in the nearby bushes. Suddenly a large mountain cat attacked him. Only with a few seconds to react the Biata held out his hands and spoke strange words. As he looked up the cat lay on the ground burnt up and drawing its last breaths.

A Barbarian Shaman lit the circle of fire and began the ritual. While chanting she looked out to sea and notice a small stir. She began to chant even more and concentrated even harder into the ritual. The surrounding warriors, who were overseeing the ritual, began to chant with their Valkyrie. The ritual ended and a silence went about the camp. For several minutes they all looked to the sea. Then the water began to rumble and churn… |
